As we look into building communities, we believe there are benefits of building the people within it-one generation at a time. Each year, several students graduate from high school and become alumni of that high school. The Intergenerational Enterprise seeks to utilize their participation along with community/business partners to train/ employ students to work/provide service in the improvement of their community.
Since these graduates/community partners typically live in the area, we believe the Intergenerational Enteprise could expand its role in the community to function similar to an Elder Council.
